Work experience summary:

Before joining the social media team at CNN, I was on the team that handled the main accounts at The Huffington Post. I got my start in social media at The (Bergen) Record in northern New Jersey, where I was the sole social media editor when Bridgegate broke involving New Jersey’s governor, Chris Christie.

Prior to that I had pursued my master’s in criminal justice in Texas after I was a breaking news reporter for a few years for The Asbury Park Press (Gannett).

I had a humble beginning as an intern for The Daily Journal in Vineland, NJ and then as a newsroom clerk at The Asbury Park Press. I know the value of every job at every level and how it all contributes to a well-run newsroom.
